Our Story - From Local Eatery to Community Favorite
Since our founding by Ron Epple and Bob McDonald in 1979, Chicago’s Pizza has grown to become a beloved mainstay in cities and towns across central and southern Indiana. From the very beginning, we’ve been committed to more than just making great pizza—we’ve dedicated ourselves to crafting well-made, delicious pies while actively supporting the communities we serve. It’s this combination of quality and care that has helped us build lasting relationships with our customers and neighbors.

This hands-on approach ensures that each location is personally invested in its success, fostering a sense of pride and connection that extends beyond the kitchen. Our current franchisor, Dave Childers, joined the Chicago’s Pizza family in 1984 and has continued to carry forward the vision and values established by Ron and Bob.
